Regardless of which Crystal Reports edition is purchased, Crystal Reports is licensed on a per-user basis for report design.

Standard Edition

Crystal Reports Standard Edition provides access to PC-based data sources which can then be used to create highly formatted reports.

Licensing conditions for report design

To create reports using Crystal Reports Standard Edition, a named-user license must be purchased for each report designer. This license cannot be shared with others.
